Accessibility commitment

Accessible by design, not as an afterthought.

Atkinson Film-Arts is committed to creating digital experiences that are usable by people with diverse abilities, devices, languages and contexts. We aim to conform to WCAG 2.1 AA or better for public web experiences and to design client-facing AI systems with accessibility and bilingual readiness from the start.

Website accessibility

Our website uses semantic HTML, structured headings, descriptive links, keyboard navigable menus, visible focus states, alternative text for meaningful images, sufficient colour contrast and responsive layouts. Forms are labelled, buttons include text labels and search/navigation controls are designed for assistive technologies.

AI accessibility

For AI systems, accessibility includes more than interface compliance. We consider plain-language responses, screen-reader compatibility, language support, error recovery, escalation options, captions/transcripts for media, and human assistance when automated interaction is not appropriate.

Bilingual and inclusive design

We design for English and French content expansion, accessibility of forms and messages, and inclusive user testing where possible. We avoid relying solely on colour, visual complexity or hidden gestures to communicate essential meaning.

Feedback

If you experience an accessibility barrier, contact accessibility@atkinsonfilmarts.com. Include the page, issue, assistive technology if relevant, and preferred contact method.

Engagement pathways

Build capability, trust and momentum.

Start with the pathway that fits your organization: executive briefing, Marbles OS pilot, Academy cohort, resource download, or community update.
